Thoughts on staying full and maintaining nutritional balance
Did great today nutritionally! I met my goal of making every meal filled with both high amounts of protein and fiber to stay full. It works! Sometimes when I cant figure out what to add to a meal for more protein I just have a protein shake…or even add it to certain foods like oatmeal (vanilla is yummy!) - i credit my sister for that idea. For fiber I really like figs. They’re soooooo good. Veggies are always an option too. Mmmmmm….
I noticed my challenge starts mid day, around 4 o’clock. Not sure why. Maybe it’s because of spikes in blood sugar or maybe its stress related. I know around that time I feel like shutting down. Relaxing and calling it quits for the day. So that could be it. If only I could find a way to stretch my energy throughout the day….
I’m thinking more protein though. Fiber helps too but I should eat more eggs.
Singer Whitney Houston died Saturday in Beverly Hills, according to law enforcement sources.
Authorities are trying to determine a cause of death. It’s unclear whether she died at a hotel or in a residence, said the source, who asked to remain anonymous because the investigation is ongoing.
Houston, 48, was in the Los Angeles area for a musical tribute to music executive Clive Davis and had performed and spoken to reporters earlier in the week.
